Le Saut Hermès – Gallop to the Grand Palais for the 8th Edition

The Saut Hermès is one of the world’s most important and most prestigious show jumping competitions. From 17th to 19th March, 2017, its 8th edition will take place under the glass canopy of the Grand Palais. The event celebrates the spirit of Thierry Hermès, the famous saddle and harness maker who never ceased to surprise in his quest for excellence. The Sezz Paris invites you to immerse yourself in the excitement of one of biggest equestrian events in the world.

Hermes - for the love of the horse

The love story between Hermès and man’s noblest conquest began in 1837 when the house that became a globally recognised symbol of luxury and elegance was simply a shop dedicated to the horse. The house’s expertise and its passion for the equestrian world have forged the history of Hermès, its prestige, its values, and the very essence of its existence. Since 2009, the brand has invited the greatest riders on the planet to the Grand Palais to test themselves over various show jumping courses.

An exceptional contest for the equestrian elite

The canopy of the Grand Palais will soon echo with the galloping hooves of the most magnificent mounts for an event that brings together the elite of international show jumping and promising young riders under 25. Le Saut Hermès is also a unique meeting place for horse riding enthusiasts who will enjoy a different programme of events and contests each day. They will also find the usual highlights of the competition such as the Prix du Grand Palais, the Prix Hermès Sellier, the Grand Prix Hermès, and the Talents Hermès competition.

Prix du Faubourg 24 – the first night time event

This year, for the first time, the Saut Hermès is organizing a nocturnal fixture that’s open to the public. Scheduled for Saturday, March 18th from 7 pm, the illuminated canopy will set the scene for the "Prix du Faubourg 24" show jumping event. It will be followed by “The Dream of Don Quixote”, an original and prestigious equestrian show conceived and directed by the famous playwright Florient Azoulay in collaboration with horse trainer Mario Luraschi.
